Marquee Entry Signs

It has been a decade since the marquee entry signs were built at the Desrochers Gate and Desrochers Drive entrances and are past due for maintenance.  Built by Behrends Group for NAC Land, Behrends has been contracted to test each signs’ operational status and report back the DHOA on what will be required to bring them back to their original operational status.  This testing work should be complete by late December.

Christmas Displays

The DHOA Board, having reviewed the high cost of commercially renting and having Christmas displays installed has decided to have festive light displays built for both main entries, the displays to be owned and installed by DHOA volunteers.  Unfortunately, due to continuing issues with the marquee signs, the external power outlets to light the displays are out of order.  The plan is to have these displays built and operational for the 2026 festive season.

Fence Maintenance

The DHOA is responsible for the maintenance of select community fencing, such as the perimeter fencing around Desrochers, some fences located along main roads within Desrochers and our communities interconnecting walkways.  The fences, some which were built over a decade ago are now in need of repainting.  The DHOA is currently requesting quotes from contractors to begin fence painting in the summer of 2026.  Fences will be repainted on a rotational basis over the next few years, starting with those sections that are in most need of maintenance.
