August 15th was the perfect day for our community to gather, meet neighbours, greet some of our city's first responders, representatives from the Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch Program, Reach Edmonton, Edmonton Public Library, Heritage Valley, City Councillor Jon Morgan and volunteers from the Desrochers Home Owners' Association (DHOA.)  

Over 1200 Residents Attended

The event surpassed the DHOA's expectations with over 1200 Desrochers residents stopping by to celebrate Desrochers. 

It was a memorable day as you met fellow residents, engaged in conversations with your neighbours, learning about community support programs and most importantly, having a fun outing with your family.  

Thanks to all the volunteers, community organizations and even neighbourhood children who pitched in to help tidy up at the end of the day.
